    Yes, of course. There is a special Red Room event called Aside which is an curated RSVP event on this coming Saturday, 6/29.

    If you are interested, please contact Christine in my office for RSVP.

    We have spend so much time to invite 8 brilliant artists to share with Red Roomers their passion. Sangpuy 桑布依, an indigenous and talented singer would be playing. Tammy will do a world renown Virginal Monologue. Her performance just will take your breath away. Claire’s poignant poem will make you think where this most talented poet comes from. Ayesha’s unique vocal will take you to the magic kingdom and refuse to come back. Rene’s hip hop poem will make you wonder how spoken words can be so mesmerized. Katie’s story telling will bring back the child inside of you. Tina, my dearest friend, will make you gasp for more. I am really proud of these line up. You will be inspired by their passion and the commitment to their art.

        It was a sold out night with so many great friends celebrated the creative energy. I hope you also connected with some new friends at Aside.

        The Aside III on 6/29/2013 was one of the best Asides. Katie, Tina, Claire, Tammy, Ayesha, Arik, Rene and Sangpu are all one of a kind. One of my friends, Peter, told me has not seen this kind of performance for a long time. He also pointed out the mix of the performers with different cultural background was most appreciated.

        I am so glad that everyone has noticed the hard work behind this production.

        For those people who have missed Aside III. Don’t worry, Aside IV will be on 11/30/2013.

    I believe there is a void in Taiwan’s social life. We have failed in TV programing with popularism and superficial pop culture. It has become a vicious cycle in Taiwan’s TV industry ruled by oligarchy. I really did not see anyway out.

    Red Room is only a movement which I want to see if I could make it a sustainable business so we can create a new renaissance in Taiwan’s creative lifestyle.

    Yes, Red Room requires experience personally, not experience you can get vicariously.

  7. wow, you’ve got national attention now!!! what a success. it’s a great thing you do there, giving blessings to all who have enjoyed the event. one of these days i want to come and partake the excitement myself.
