2013年一定要看的一本書,就是《公東的教堂》。
這本書會讓你掉眼淚。雖然我不是公東人,對台東也不太了解,但我看了非常感動。
2013年,如果你要去台灣某個地方,就去看公東的教堂吧!
千萬不要用觀光客的心情去看;從上樓梯開始就以謙卑、感恩的心情,樓梯上每一個轉彎都不一樣,尤其是看了書以後,會讓你感受到不一樣的光。
進去以後千萬不要急著照相,我甚至鼓勵不帶照相機去。進去之後先坐在那邊,想像錫神父在那邊做彌撒,也成功地教育許多人成為重量級的菁英,就這樣安安靜靜地坐在那麼有能量、小小的教堂,細細地回味看了這本書之後的感覺。

I was stunned by the beauty and serenity when I saw this little humble chapel in Taitung. The best thing for you to do is to visit Taitung and see this chapel by yourself. I used to do a lot of architecture tour whenever I visited a city. It is most gratifying to see things that most tourist will not have a chance to see. Most people will flock to popular tourist destination. For those few selective people, they will always go to the places less traveled.
However, you may need to call first before you want to see this chapel.
