Dear Mr. Chu
I’m the student in your speech in Soochow University. I have been to your RED ROOM once. I think that was a great experience and memory.
Now I’m graduate from school and applying graduated school in California. One day, my friends take me to Fashion Valley in San Diego just for fun, but I see the AVADA’s sign . I can’t stop myself running to see if it is true. My friends ask me about why and I tell them the experience in the Red Room and the thought of AVADA.(I know I’m just can said the surface of it, but I try)Then, we all together get into the store and buy the essence.
I know about the “Day Maker”, but I think this is the first time I really want to share some kind of feeling to my friends, something is meaningful and helpful.
Sharing this good feeling to you, and I hope I will have chance to back to Taiwan to share more to everybody in the Red Room. So far away from home, and I know how important it is.

I am so sorry for not returning your email sooner. I was under weather lately.
Your email filled me with positive energy. Everything I did or shared is to help myself to live an engaged life. Occassionally, I receive an email like yours. It is the best things happened to me knowing that I am not alone.

I alwasy think the Nonzero Club at Kiva is a unique community. You guys have passed the challenge and made the effort to become a Kiva Lender.
I just checked http://www.kiva.org and prouded to know that Nonzero Club has 120 members, more than I could have expected when I set the goal to 100. We also made 355 loans with a total US$9,425.00 loan to these entrepreneurs. This is the power of micro crowdfunding in the best case.

Actually, I have to share a secret that I post Young at Heart as PPaper Business homework. Young at heart is my birthday song I sang for myself. 🙂
I also love the lyrics of ‘Somebody I used to know’. Especially, the part on ” You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness”. I think whoever sings this song, deep inside, they still treasure the fun memories in their love story. How can anyone forget somethig the used to love so much?
Now, you can also practice the ritual to make a loan whenever you feel happiest in your life. I made a ritual to make a loan on my birthday, in addition to re-lend my loan to another entrepreneur routinely.
When time is right, I would love to share with you the Ripplemaker Foundation ( RF ) that I and my girl friend have set up based on Kiva.org spirit. RF is also a micro finance platform. The only difference is that it is not crowdfunding, it is financed by our own money.

It’s quite surprising for me to see you sharing ‘Somebody I used to know’ on your blog! This song is quite popular here in UK as well and it’s my new favourite one! Deeply moved by the uniqueness of the melody and the insightful lyrics. Also love this cover, it’s amazing that music could be so powerful that could make talented ppl stick together.
Oh by the way congrats on making your wish come true as the number of members of NonZero club has reached 100 before your birthday! So glad and proud of all of us who keep contributing ourselves to support other’s life. Great sense of achievement, isn’t it?
